First of all,

THANK YOU to everybody who thought of my birthday and for all congratulations! I was really happy about it, trust me, it's appreciated. Maybe you've noticed this beautiful journal skin. For being able to use it, I have to say a very special thank you to "anonymous deviant", who gave me a 12 MONTH PREMIUMMEMBERSHIP! o.O You can't imagine my surprise when I logged in the other day and found that note telling me about it... It's great to know that there are people existing who believe that much in you and your artistic qualities that they decide to support you that way! Sometimes you need to be remembered of what you are or could be. I really wish I knew who it was so I can thank him / her in a more personal way, but until now I can only hope that he / she is reading this and knows how grateful I am. I hope I can make the best of it and not disappoint anybody...

As announced in the title, there are some news concerning my dA-account. The flood of Emilie Autumn pictures has abated mostly, there will be some very last if I find some more worth editing...but to be honest, it's getting a little boring (don't kill me, plaguerats!) and I've got some other ideas in mind that I want to realise soon. But as quite a lot of people have asked for it, here I've got one last picture for you showing my EA-inspired (self-made! ) dress, make-up and general look which I created for visiting her show:



Furthermore, that much EA pictures made me think of tidying up my gallery a little bit, which is why there's a perfect folder order now:

1. "Featured": Only artworks of which I really feel like they're the best ones I've ever made.
2. "Dark and gothic photography": My favourite kind of art, as you probably know.
3. "Photomanipulation": Mainly the same theme, dark and gothic, but also other.
4. "Emilie Autumn show photos": Well, what might be in there?^^
5. "Emilie Autumn inspired, Victorian": My personal EA fan art, inspired by her looks, lyrics and songs, and photos taken of me wearing my white victorian dress.
6. "Self-portraits": That's a little ridiculous as 80% of my artworks are more or less self-portraits in a way, so pictures of me are in almost every category. But this folder is meant for deviantIDs etc.
7. "Other photography": Means not THAT dark and gothic. xD
8. "Old and not that good stuff": The very first photos, still taken with my old digicam...

Some very old ones have also been deleted, but only the ones that nobody will remember or miss anyway.

Maybe, if I get how the whole print-selling-system here works, there will be PRINTS AVAILABLE of some of my artworks...not of all, because I don't know if I have the right to sell pictures of Emilie Autumn, but several people for example asked for "Sin and Innocence"...tell me if you're interested.

So much for the dA news.

Now I'm going to tell you some ordinary personal stuff (so you can stop reading now^^, it's getting boring)...which I only do because I don't feel like having somebody else to talk about. Pathetic, I know.^^
About my birthday..I really wish I could tell that it was an awesome day and I had a lot of fun, but well...my best schoolfriend (for more than 5 years) sent me (beside the obligatory present) a note that she wants to end our friendship as it makes no more sense to her. I've neglected her too much and cared to less for the problems she's going through (of which I didn't know )...I feel very bad. Because she's probably right. There are only very few people whose opinion of myself is really important for me, and she was one of them, and I guess I failed.
But well, in the evening, I went to my favourite bar, Jack's Rock Bar, to celebrate with my friends. The best moment was when I entered and everybody started singing "Happy Birthday" for me...I was so surprised that for a moment, I somehow didn't realise that they really meant ME. So that was great, though
